We would like to inform about our cooperation with the Silesian University of Technology as part of the MotoPOWER project. The main idea of the undertaking is the innovative conduct of student interships combined with the didactic process, where TEDGUM has an impact on the process of educating project participants, in order to adapt the transferred knowledge to the needs of Industry 4.0. This applies not only to technology, but also to new ways of working and the role of people in industry.
The project aims to develop and test 5 education programs at the 5th level of the Polish Qualifications Framework. Participation in the project lasts 12 months, of which 6 are intended for professional interships. The program is implemented in the following fields: automation and robotics, electrical engineering, transport (including the construction and operation of motor vehicles), mechanics and machine construction as well as management and production engineer. Participants will gain practical knowledge to work in the automotive industry and the opportunity to acquire new qualifications (in selected directions). Cooperation at the level of the educational process also favors new didactic experiences for university employees.
The MotoPOWER project was highly appreciated by the Ministry of Investment and Development, from where it received funding amounting to 56% of funds allocated for this purpose. The total value of the project is PLN 4 260 209.50, where the European Funds also had a huge contribution. More details about the project can be obtained on the dedicated website of the Silesian University of Technology: www.MotoNa5.polsl.pl
