In the case of suspension elements, it happens that the original solution contains elements that are exposed to particularly high overloads, and combined with the poor quality of roads, these elements are damaged quite quickly.
Replacing such an element with a substitute of the same quality causes the new element to be damaged just as quickly, even if we are talking about an OE replacement. In such a situation, we have to accept frequent replacement of parts or reach for another solution. In the case of suspension bushings, it is worth considering replacing the element with a reinforced version.
Problematic bushings occur in several Fiat models, namely: Tipo (from 2015), Bravo (2006-2014), Stilo (2001-2008), as well as the Lancia Delta III model. In the case of the front suspension in these models, the arrangement of the front control arm with a vertically arranged rear bush causes the bush to work to a fairly large extent and with high pressure. The solution in this case may be to use the TED30411 sleeve for the Tipo model and the TED99314 sleeve for the other models mentioned above.
The design of the reinforced bushings is improved compared to OE elements in such a way that they can withstand much higher loads, and thus the durability of the element may be even several times longer than in the case of using a standard part.
The full list of bushing applications can be found in our catalog on the product cards: TED30411 and TED99314.
