Replacement of rear beam bushing with TED48027 puller in Renault Laguna (Manual #37)

The puller enables correct mounting of the bushing directly on the car, without removing the rear beam. Thanks to the use of a triangle thread, the puller is characterized by high durability. To ensure proper operation, grease the bolt and bearings.

Below is the replacement process for rear beam bushing no. 00584273, 00584274 on a Renault Laguna II & III vehicles:

The first step before dismantling the old bushing is to assemble the drive plates that will press out the worn element.

The assembled device should be applied from the bottom of the beam, the larger element must be located above the bushing.

After installing the bolt, we can proceed to disassemble the worn bushing. Make sure that the fittings are properly seated.

Then lubricate the socket with a suitable agent. We can use tire mounting paste.

We recommend installing reinforced TEDGUM bushings no.: 00584273 & 00584274.
Increased amount of rubber relative to OE and stronger fixing of the sheet metal allows longer liveability.

Put a single drive plate onto the new bushing. The stopping element should be on the bottom of the beam. Tighten everything together with the bolt.

When ironing a new bushing, make sure that it fits correctly into the socket and does not block on the beam.
