Replacing the front rear trailing arm bushing (Ford Mondeo MK4) using the TED87395 puller (Manual #39)

The puller, thanks to special fittings, enables correct assembly and disassembly of two types of sleeves. To facilitate operation and ensure correct operation, grease the screw thread and the bearing. Grease is included in the kit.

Below is the exact replacement process for TEDGUM 00225980/00225984 bushing in Ford Mondeo MK4:

To press the bushing out, put the thrust plate that will hold the puller.

Apply bushing puller and drive plate for pressing the bushing out from the socket.

During pressing in it is important to check if the drive plate correctly goes into the socket.

Before pressing the new bushing in, it is important to clean and lubricate the socket. Tyre montage paste can be used.

Screw on the limiter to the drive plate and place lubricated bushing inside.

The bushing needs to be correctly placed in the socket according to the marker on the trailing arm. Next, place the puller with thrust plate and tighten the bolt.

While pressing in, control if the bushing goes correctly into the socket. Press the bushing in till the limiter touches the trailing arm.
